Metro Stations to Sell Trade Fair Tickets From 14th November

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will start selling India International Trade Fair (IITF) entry tickets for Business Days (14th Nov to 18th Nov 2016) from Monday i.e. 14th November 2016 and for general public days (19th Nov to 27th Nov 2016) from Saturday i.e, 19th November 2016. 


The IITF entry tickets for general public days (19th Nov to 27th Nov 2016) will be available at all the Metro stations except Airport Express Line, where tickets will be available for Trade Fair at only one station i.e, Dhaula Kuan station. Therefore, general public is advised that to avoid last minute rush of purchasing tickets at Pragati Maidan Metro station, they can purchase the tickets from their originating station itself. However, tickets for Business Days (14th Nov to 18th Nov 2016) will be available only from 33 Metro stations. These stations are: 


IITF tickets for both business as well as general days can be purchased from Customer Care Centres of Metro stations from 09:30 AM to 05:00 PM on all days. The IITF Business days & General days entry tickets at Metro stations are priced as under: 

Business Days (14th Nov to 18th Nov 2016) = Rs. 500/-

 General Days (19th Nov to 27th Nov 2016)


            In order to facilitate the public using Delhi Metro while going back from ongoing IITF at Pragati Maidan, the Delhi Metro will be exclusively operating 21 token/smart card counters from within the premises of IITF, Pragati Maidan near its Gate No. 10 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on all general days i.e, 19th Nov to 27th Nov 2016 


The IITF tickets will be sold from stations only for the same day as the tickets are day specific only and no advance tickets will be available for sale. The DMRC is expecting massive crowds to use the Pragati Maidan Metro station and therefore additional ticket counters will be opened at Pragati Maidan Metro station. Additional DMRC officers & staff, customer facilitation agents and security staff will also be deployed at all stations. 


NOTE: At Pragati Maidan Metro station, Trade Fair tickets will be available only for Metro users. People coming from outside Metro premises need to buy the tickets from ITPO Gate No. 1 and 2.
