At present, there is no decision regarding the increase in fares of the Delhi Metro services. Any such revision in fares will be proposed only after consultation with the Board of Directors of the Delhi Metro. And in case any such change is decided on, the same would be done considering the realistic expenditure incurred by DMRC.

However, the hike in the tariff of power supplied to DMRC will impact the operational expenses on electricity of Delhi Metro by approximately 30 percent. PR/DMRC
