  • A mass yoga session was organized at Shastri Park Train Depot, Delhi-110053 under the aegis of DMRC Training Institute to commemorate IIIrd International Day of Yoga on 21 June, 2017. The session witnessed large participation from O&M and project wings of DMRC. Honourable MD graced the occasion.

  • DMRC Training Institute organised “Foundation Training Programme for Assistant Managers” for newly recruited Assistant Managers from 05 June 2017 to 21 June 2017. For more information <<< click here >>>.

  • In DMRC’s ever continued endeavour towards accomplishment of stated vision & mission of organization, three batches of DLITE (Do Lasting Improvement in Travel Experience) - an initiative for achieving excellence in customer services, were conducted from 11 to 13 Apr, 2017, from 07 to 09 June 2017 and from 13 to 15 June 2017. The idea is to generate a second wave of customer service improvement in DMRC to take the level of service to a level beyond expectations of customers. The 3 days programme for each of the batch included activity oriented sessions such as role play, case studies, field visits & presentations by the participants. A total of 80 nos. of nominated station staff from CRA, SC & SM/ASM cadre participated in the training in these batches.

  • DMRC Training Institute organised a foundation training program of two weeks from 22 May 2017 to 03 June 2017 for Dy. HODs of various departments of DMRC. For more information <<< click here >>>.

  • A six days long Training Programme on Metro and the Advanced Technologies adapted while construction of Metro, was conducted by DMRC Training Institute for executives of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) from 15 May 2017 to 20 May 2017. The training program included classroom sessions as well as field visits and received encouraging feedbacks from the participants.

  • A drawing & painting competition was held under the aegis of DMRC Training Institute on the occasion of “World Environment Day – 2017” on 20 May 2017. The competition was held in two categories i.e. Group A for children of DMRC staff in the age group 5-10 years and Group B for children of DMRC staff in the age group 10-15 years. The competition received overwhelming response with large numbers of participants in both the categories. The winning participants were suitably awarded by the Managing Director on 05 June 2017 at Metro Bhawan.

  • DMRC Training Institute organized a seminar on “Safety in Train Operations” on 04th May, 2017 exclusively for trainees of ongoing batches to emphasize need & awareness on the topic for understanding of trainee employees. The seminar received good participation with 15 nos. of participants and winners were suitably rewarded.

  • Celebration of Foundation Day is a momentous occasion and a solemn reminder for “Pride & Excellence” for every employee in the organization. This year on the occasion of 23rd Foundation Day of DMRC Ltd., Directors' Award ceremony was celebrated by organizing a cultural program on 03rd May, 2017 at Shah Auditorium, Civil Lines, Delhi. Approx. 84 DMRC employees participated in the cultural program and displayed their creativity. All participants meted out spectacular performances in various cultural events viz. group songs, group dance, skit, poetry etc. which was appreciated by one and all.

  • A week long Foundation Training Programme was conducted by DMRC Training Institute for Dy. HoDs of Mumbai Metro Rail Corp Ltd. from 24th April 2017 to 29th April 2017. The training program included classroom sessions & field visits and received encouraging feedbacks from the participants.

  • DMRC Training Institute, Shastri Park upgraded from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 Certification. The certification audit was carried out in the last week of April, 2017 by the certification body.

  • A learning visit was conducted for officials of MRT Jakarta from 06 April 2017 – 07 April 2017 at Training Institute, Shastri Park. The programme which included interactive classroom sessions as well as field visits, received encouraging feedback from the participants.

  • DMRC Training Institute successfully conducted 4th Advanced Training Programme on Signalling & Train Control system and Fare Collection System, for 03 days duration from 05 April 2017 to 07 April, 2017. For more information <<< click here >>>.

  • A drawing & painting competition was held under the aegis of DMRC Training Institute on the occasion of “World Water Day – 2017” on 18th March, 2017. The competition was held in three categories i.e. Group A for children of DMRC staff in the age group 5-10 years, Group B for children of DMRC staff in the age group 10-15 years and Group C for children from DMRC Children Home, Tis Hazari, Delhi. The competition received overwhelming response with 225 numbers of participants in three categories. The winning participants were suitably awarded by the Managing Director on 3rd April, 2017 at Metro Bhawan.

  • DMRC Training Institute conducted the first in-house Training Programme on RS-10 for 15 trainees from 30th Jan to 9th Feb, 2017. The training included classroom sessions as well as field visits.

  • In order to develop team building spirit and to encourage extracurricular activities amongst the trainees, a quiz competition was held in Auditorium of DMRC Training Institute on 25th Jan. 2017 on the eve of 68th Republic Day, among five nos. of teams of selected trainees of different on-going batches. Winners and runner-ups were awarded suitably by Sh. Sumeet Singh, Principal/Trg.Instt.

  • DMRC Training Institute organised three batches of “AM Foundation Training Programme for Assistant Managers” for newly promoted/recruited Assistant Managers from 21st Nov. 2016 to 09th Dec. 2016, from 08th Dec. 2016 to 28th Dec. 2016 and from 09th Jan. 2017 to 27th Jan. 2017. During the program, participants were given overview on various systems and procedures in classroom sessions and field visits. The program included two days training sessions on Finance & HR by faculty from IIM, Kolkata in first two batches and from MDI, Gurugram in third batch. For more information <<< click here >>>.
