Executive Developement Programme

We organize regular Executive Development Programs in training institute for the executives of DMRC at the time of their joining and promotions. The objective of this training course is to enhance the technical knowledge/applications, managerial ability, and sharpen the Soft Skills profile of the trainees. During EDP, the trainees are exposed to effective Management practices, leadership styles, time management, importance of ethics and values, team building, finance management, transport economics, HR practices, departmental rules and regulations, field visits etc. The method of training include class rooms, exercises, management games, use of simulators and field visit. The purpose of EDP to prepare executives for taking up higher responsibilities in the management.


  • DMRC Training Institute organised a training program for newly promoted Dy. HODs of various departments of DMRC. The training schedule was of two weeks from 07th Sept. 2015 to 19th Sept. 2015 that included classroom sessions as well as field visits. The training program received encouraging feedbacks from the participants.

  • DMRC Training Institute organised second batch of “AM Foundation Course” for newly recruited Assistant Managers from 17th Aug., 2015 to 02nd Sept., 2015. During the program, participants were given overview on various systems and procedures in classroom sessions and field visits.

  • DMRC Training Institute organised “AM Foundation Course” for newly recruited Assistant Managers of Electrical, S&T and IT Departments from 29th June, 2015 to 18th July, 2015. During the program, participants were given overview on various systems and procedures in classroom sessions and field visits.

  • Foundation Training for Assistant Managers of Civil & Finance wings was organised from 15th to 29th Dec. 2014 at DMRC Training Institute. Nineteen nos. of participants attended the training and gave encouraging feedbacks to the programme.

  • DMRC Training Institute organised a training program for Dy. HODs of various departments of DMRC. The training schedule was of two weeks from 15th Sept. 2014 to 26th Sept. 2014 that included classroom sessions as well as field visits. MD/DMRC opened the training session with his address for the participants. The training program received encouraging feedbacks from the participants.

  • Sh. Mangu Singh, Managing Director launched first Foundation Program for recently promoted Assistant Managers on 19th Aug. 2014 at DMRC Training Institute. The training programme was first of its kind and was conducted for Assistant Managers from 19th Aug., 2014 to 06th Sep., 2014. During the program, participants were given overview on various systems and procedures. The Managing Director also unveiled hand books titled “Foundation Course for Executives” (Volume I & II), prepared and compiled by DMRC Training Institute.
